There is a significant difference in backspacing, the newer wheels have more, and I believe they will rub on your springs if installed on a leaf spring front end.
Somehow I've seen people shoehon the newer whells on the older trucks and it looks plain goofy. They set too far into the fenderwells and remind me of one of those Southern Pacific railroad trucks.
I'd pass on them and save your money for a set of decent aftermarket wheels.
