Ok, my previous truck was an 03 F250 SC 6spd 5.4 4x4 and the LS actually worked fairly well. The new trucks LS however works like crap. It's on the build sheet, it's on the diff tag, so it must be in there? Any tips, tricks to make this thing work better?

Nobody knows how to make the Limited Slip work better? Aside from a Detroit locker? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've read that a lot of trucks got little to no additive. A drain and refill could definitely help.

Good suggestions...thanks. I like those aluminum diff covers on the new 08 pickups. It's a good excuse for getting one if the lube needs changing.

I believe that a lack of additive would cause the clutches to hold better, but there would be chatter during turns. If the LS isn't working the clutches could be worn and loose. Sounds like the clutch packs need to be examined.
