Greetings all.

Just a small tid bit.

I was traveling north on I-75 in Auburn Hills about a week ago and I came upon a prototype Super Duty. (Bras front and rear.) The truck had an aluminum diff. cover with cooling fins on the rear axle. I thought it would be pretty cool if that becomes standard equipment.

That's it.

Ken.

I believe edmunds.com has pictures of it. The ones I saw, showed an ugly front, the headlights just kill it for me. The new interior looks ok from what i can tell. If you pony up for the two boss you get that nice diff cover....

That is standard equipment on the current models. However only on the 4:30 diff's. I have the alumn. cover w/fins on my 06' camper pkg. w/4:30's

I saw a test mule near the KTP plant a couple of weeks ago -- it had an interesting paint scheme that looked like some form of computer generated camo (similar to the new Army camo pattern, if you are familiar with that). It had the same mirrors as seen on Edmund's. Could not tell much else about it, other than the grill/bumper does not look as good (IMO) as the current one.

Are you sure about this? I was talking to y dealer today and he said there will be cosmetic front end and interior changes for '07.

Dead positive. I've already got all my material for the new '07 and pictures. It is identical to the '06 and it has a 6.0L.

So why are they driving a 08 down I-70. It was covered but you can tell the front. I heard the 6.4 was out in January because of emissions.

The 2008 is scheduled to be out around January 2007. It will be an early model, like the 2007 Sport Trac came out this year really early.

But they are going to make a 2007 and it will be identical to an '06. The '08 will be out first of 2007.
