08 ford navi to a 02 ford truck??

I was given a 08 f350 navi stereo from a friend. I have a 02 f30 that i want to put it in. Has anyone done this?? I was told I need a harness for some kind of amp that comes factory in the 08s. Any help would be nice. Thanks so much.
