Ford Motor Company has recalled 1.3 million F-Series pickups over a faulty door latch that may allow the door to open while the vehicle is in motion.

The affected trucks include 2015, 2016 and 2017 model year F-150s and some 2017 Super Duty trucks. The majority of the trucks are in the United States, but some are located in Canada and Mexico as well.

The recall is for a faulty driver’s side door that may allow the door to open unexpectedly while the vehicle is moving. The issue may also prevent the driver’s side door from opening.

Ford said it was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem. The automaker will take a $267 million hit in order to recall and repair the affected trucks.

I Have not been notified yet?
But other than this. Truck runs great!! No Issues.

My recall was for the Left hand inflatable rear seatbelt buckle, the screw had to be replaced, that fastens to the floor in back. Was done on the 28 December 2017.
I do not know, if i will have to get a recall on the faulty Door latches? I will have to wait and see? :smile2:
