Hey y’all, my trucks giving me problems. In the morning no matter the temperature when I get in to start the truck I’ll crank it over for about half a second and it’ll crank and run for about 5 seconds. After that it dies and I have to crank it again but this time I have to crank on it for 7-8 seconds 1 or 2 times before it cranks. After that I can drive it and kill it and it start up perfectly fine and stays running. Any ideas? Glow plugs? Injectors? Pump?

Sounds like you are getting air into the system. Return lines? I also have put a check valve in the line before the mechanical fuel pump which seems to help too.
