The only way that I know of to change shift points is to get a chip or programmer

Use the button on the shift stalk. Turn the O/D off until you're at the speed you'd like it to shift into it.

^^^^^ That's exactly what the OD button is for. Any sane designer would have opted for a shifter with seven positions, for P, R, N, OD, D (or 3), 2, 1. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, opted for a pushbutton instead of an actual shifter position. Maybe they were trying to market to former '63 Valiant drivers :dunno: ?

'95 doesn't have tow/haul mode. My '94 will shift into OD at about 37MPH with no load. Fiver weighs about 9500 with stuff loaded, and I just press the pedal a little bit more to force a higher rpm shift.

I will manually cancel OD for climbing a hill, and even downshift if needed to keep RPMs up.

Yeah, OD on/off. Wrong "name," but everyone knew what I meant.

OD off and tow/haul mode are completely different.
