Here is one for the masses. I recently started having issues with my truck starting because the batteries were losing charge. 2 year old yellow tops so that shouldnt be happening. Well at the same time I started having issues with the keyless entry system, I had to be right next to the truck to make the doors lock. Changed the batteries no diff same same. I disconnected the batteries to check them and then the keyless entry worked fine. Long story short here is what I found, a couple of weeks ago I changed the station on my sattelite radio to transmit on 105.1 FM and apparently that was too close to the keyless entry system frequency on my truck because it was interfering and causeing something in the system to activate and draw down the batteries and screw up my batteries. Changed the frequency on the transmitter back down to 92.1 and all is fine. Stange hu?
