hi there im new to this whole posting thing but recently bought a 97 psd that has 280k im pretty good with mechanic on a older ford gas truck but not very familiar with diesels but the truck was bought not running because it has been parked for a year but was running great when parked. will start on a small dose of ether or wd 40 on a rag and run great after that and start right back up when warm. i have replaced the glow plugs, gpr and two brand new batteries. It spins over fast and the tach moves alittle bit while cranking. like i said im not very good or knowlegable on diesels and i can not figure this problem out i guess its only a could start issue is there anything i could have over looked or something i missed i would greatly appreciate any help i could get thanks alot
