Considering this install because it will be dirt cheap. This should be an overall lift of about 2" correct? Main reason is I got a set of 315/75-16 pro comp muds for 200 bucks. Anything else i should take into consideration before doing this install.

I would highly recomend you use a adj track bar, even a lift as small as 2" will require one...unless ya think its a good idea to pull the axel over to reinstall the factory track bar...not me!

A Donahoe 2" mini spring kit would work perfect!

You might also want to consider investing in a shim kit for your driveshaft carrier bearing.

DR makes a good kit for this too!

I have rancho shocks on the front and rear now. I believe this was part of the FX4 package? not sure but I am looking to upgrade. which bilsteins or donahoe shocks would you recomend. the truck sees little offroad other than an occasional construction site. Not looking for something extreme like nitrogen filled shocks.

The Ranchos on your truck are IMO junk. It will ride much better with Quality shocks such as Bilsteins or Donahoes. And you will never need shocks again /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif...unless you lift it higher.
