Lately, I noticed that my buzzer doesn't come on when I first turn on the ignition key. The wait light is there but no annoying sound. Is this something to worry about?

Another problem I've had for at least 5 years. When on a long trip and I mean constant driving, the temp guage reads normal. On the "N". When I stop the temp will stick at extreme hot and maybe stay there for 50 or 60 miles. Then it will suddenly drop back to normal. This is a problem that is sporadic and I never can get any kind of frequency on but it is nerve rattling. What's your thoughts, a new sender?

Thank you for your responses.

My buzzer will do that every now and then. I don't think it's a problem. As far as your temp gauge goes, i would buy an aftermarket set-up. The stock gauges on our trucks are known to be not so accurate. Make sure it is a reputable manufacturer. Tim

There's suppose to be a buzzer? My trucks first owner must of dispatched with that before I got old blue. Its ok not to have one? My wait light still works.
