I don't have my manual around right now. But if I remember right. Main sys holds 27L and EGR system holds 12L

Main sys runs at about 195 or so but EGR system cooling is at around 100f

The EGR Cooler actually has cooling circuits from both the Primary and Secondary cooling systems in it.

In addition the Secondary cooling system has a high temp thermostat (~60°C/140°F) and a low temp thermostat (~45°C/113°F). The high temp side of the secondary cooling system supplies the EGR cooler and the transmission oil cooler while the low temp side of the secondary cooling system supplies the CAC and fuel cooler.

There are two test kits. One for coolant strength and one for anti corrosion and contaminant. Again I don't have the manuals with me as I am away working this weekend. There's an additive you can add up to two times that boosts the coolant.

Read up about it in your manual. Quite a complex system by the sounds from the above poster.
