Well, it's been 20 years since I bought my truck, 268K miles later it still cranks in a err-un.

It has provided me a dependable work horse and many afternoons of maintenance pleasure tinkering.

I never tire of reminding my wife that in 2002 I said would have this truck 20+ years.

Working on the second 20.

I appreciate the knowledge and experience (s) passed on to me on this forum.

Thanks

Mine is coming up on 23 years now. Not quite 250k miles. It's had a few issues, but I plan on keeping it till I die. ;)

Brought mine home in December of 2000, told my wife it would be the last truck we ever purchase. Comparing my 108,000 miles to everyones here looks like it's going to be around a long, long time.

25 years and counting. 248,000ish. Used to use it pretty hard, but I just use it as a Home Depot toter and to drag my boat around.

Spring Chicken here with Ford.
Bought a 2002 7.3L Excursion July 4th this year, it had 171k plus miles then.

it now has 173,850ish and towed a big heavy load from SLC, UT to Tulsa, OK thru the beautiful mountains between Cortez, CO and Pagosa Springs, CO....

from there I dropped down towards Taos, NM and took US-412 home all the way, had to over-night in Clayton, NM.
13 hours on the road took the starch out of me...

the 7.3L returned 14.995 ( 15 mpg ) figured up by hand, aw, just round it off at 15.
I think that is pretty good, considering that my 2002 5.3L Vortec Suburban gets about 7 for the same work.
