I have had only 1 oil cooler go out on my truck, I'm approaching 100K and warranty must be purchased before then?? Is it worth it?? Silly question, just want to get some advice. Has this been beneficial to you if you have purchased this???? Internet special right now is $1920.00..

I think it is well worth it for another 100K miles. That price seems a little high though. Search here and abroad for a cheaper price. Seems like I remember the price being in the 12-1500 range.

The Dealer Cost was only $1270

but I heard that recently went up $100 to $1370.

Offer your dealer $100 over his cost. If he doesn't go for it, send me an email and I will link you to my dealer who will.

One injector is $500. I have lost 5 total at no cost to me. The extended warranty also wipes out the $100 deductible and provides free towing, rtental car and motel lodging during repairs.

The way I read it its a 7 year 200K plan --In short that means it expires 7 years from the date you bought the vechile ( not from the date you buy the extended warranty). My vechile is approx five yrs old and has about 100K on the clock --so it would cost me 1400 to 1900 for an additional 2 yrs coverage. Those numbers just dont make sense--

I bought the 200k plan for 1370. It might be 100 more now, but don't pay more than that.
These posts are so full of owners that have major problems right after 100k!!
I'd rather just have the insurance. The price of just one repair will probably far exceed the cost of the 200k plan.

The price on these plans actually went up quite a bit on November 5th 2008, due to the claims paid out by Ford on the plans. Ford Extended Warranty - Buy Ford ESP Extended Warranty has the plan on sale now for $1820.00 and you do not have to pay sales tax on the plan like you would at your dealer.Buy Ford Warranty

with all these mods it is going to be really hard for any dealership that wants to stay in buisness to honor your warranty. IMHO. Its always worth a try though, especialy if you have a friendly dealer.
