Hello all..

I have a 2000 F-750 with a F-350 PU bed.. I would like to replace my factory rear bumper with the large "V" shaped bumper I have seen on other f-650/750 PU's but I can't seem to find it offered anywhere.. actually there aren't many choices at all besides Road Armor and Fab fours which wouldn't look right on my rig. anyone know the bumper I am talking about and where to get it??

Also, has anyone done the Kelderman 4 Link conversion to the front? I think I have had enough of being bounced by the leafs.. I have rear bags that are there for assist purposes.. would also like to change that out to full air ride.

My rig is a Cummins with the AT545, I have had it for a couple years and use it to tow my Jeeps around.. I have done +60 injectors but no programmer or Puck. Truck runs like a champ... not to bad MPG either. I do have the dreaded ABS light on the dash..been there since I got the truck, I am fairly sure its the controller and I am trying to hunt one down.

My steering wheel is a bit off... is there a way to straighten it?

some pics.. :ford:

Most of the V shaped ones I've seen are homemade......but there are probably companies that make the kit that you have to weld on.

The hitch setup I like is the one that has a big V shaped plate on the back that is cut around the frame rails and is flush with the end of the frame.

I like how your truck is setup. I just converted an 03 crew cab 750. I'm painting mine white. What type and where did you get all the orange lights you have. I really like the placement of them.

Do you know if they make an aftermarket 04 up f650/750 grille?? (the newer style like you have)

Did the newer style front bumper bolt up? I know the brackets for it look different than on my 03.

I have yet to find the bumper offered anywhere.

I bought this truck a couple of years ago and it already had the running lights.. looks to be a custom application.. LED lights on custom bent flat aluminum trim.

I believe the entire front end was updated to the newer style... hood and bumper... but again, I didnt do it.

I really love this truck... but in small doses as it rides... well it rides like a truck. The more you load it, the better it rides..lol

I have been debating on selling it and getting a more practical tow rig like a 350-550 but their are just certain things I don't want to give up like the headroom in stopping power and nothing can even come close to matching the turning radius. It pulls 25,000 lbs + with no issues, as long as you don't want to go 80mph all the time.

Anyway, just wanted to share info as there aren't many forums that cater to these rigs, even this one seems pretty slow. Really wanted to know more about the Kelderman suspension kits. :read:

PS..

Here is the Hitch I added.. its a Reese Super Titan 25,000lb with a 4,000lb tounge weight 3" receiver... welded.

I agree with ya on the ride. Mine is 33000 gvw with air brakes. Bumps will about throw me outta the seat lol. I'm definately getting a rear air ride......kelderman or ? Also getting air ride seats from suburbanseating.com. I'm looking into getting an air ride cab suspension off a big rig so I can just make it all air ride.

What are you getting for mileage? I am looking to get an F650 with the Cummins 240hp engine and Allison 2500 5 speed automatic. From what I gather, the rear air suspension is a must have. Is the factory rear air ride as good as it gets, or am I better off buying leaf springs and converting to a Kelderman?
