Nothing you add (springs, air bags, etc.) will increase Ford’s GVWR or the GCVW rating that is listed on your tag on the drivers door pillar.

The GVWR is including the weight of anything in the truck or the bed (fuel, passengers, tools, slide in camper, etc.). On my truck (listed in signature) the max. GVWR is 11,500#.

My max GCVW rating is 20,000#. By weighing and subtracting the GVW from the GCVW rating you will know exactly how much you can legally tow.

And Yes, Ford takes into account all of the “systems” you mentioned.

You might want to download a Ford Towing guide for your year truck as each configuration has a different rating (single rear wheel, dual rear wheel, 2WD, 4WD, engine, transmission, etc.)
