This 2000 SRW F350 Lariat 2wd 7.3 diesel, automatic transmission, with 8 foot long bed, was special ordered new by me, the current, and original, owner and received in January 2000. It features white exterior over tan bottom two-tone paint, tan leather Lariat interior and every option except 4wd. It currently shows 241,670 miles and has been meticulously maintained and always parked in covered parking. When brand new, a Line-X spray-in bed liner was installed, a Roll-N-Lock aluminum bed cover was installed, and Weather Tech floor mats were placed over the factory carpeted floormats. Also, when new, the front door speakers were replaced with high-quality aftermarket speakers, and the driver and passenger side windows were tinted. Otherwise, this truck is completely stock. It has a clean Car Fax report and a clean Texas title in the current/original owner’s name. This truck was used as a daily driver for a period of time, with summer weekend trips to the lake pulling a 2000 Correct Craft Sport Nautique.

The interior is all stock except for Weather Tech floor mats, door speakers, tinted driver and passenger front windows, brake controller and an interior matching steering wheel cover over the original leather steering wheel. The truck was ordered with 60/40 front seats with a console. A F350 emblem was placed over the glove box, but can be easily removed. A 2001 model cup holder was installed due to its superior design. A sliding storage tray is under the rear seat in addition to the factory storage tray behind the rear seat. The factory carpeted Lariat floor mats are in perfect condition under the Weather Tech floor mats. The jack behind the rear seat has never been removed. All leather seats are in perfect condition except for the driver’s, which is showing some wear as shown in the picture gallery. The leather seats had mink oil applied frequently to keep them soft and pliable.
Interior equipment includes remote keyless entry (2 keys), air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD stereo, an under dash aftermarket electric trailer brake controller, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. Everything in the interior works except for the temperature/gas mileage display in the overhead console. The display numbers have become unseated from the circuit board and can be easily repaired. The truck was ordered with an auxiliary idle controller from the factory which includes a digital RPM meter. It plugs into the under-dash wiring harness.
The exterior features ALL factory original paint, a Line-X bed liner, and a Roll-N-Lock retractable aluminum bed cover. The Michelin LTX M/S 265/75R16 size tires have 47,500 miles on them, except for the front right which is brand new due to a screw in the previous tire. I got 90,000 miles from the previous set of these tires. There are three very small dents in the truck. One in the front bumper, one on the leading edge of the hood, and one below the passenger side taillight. I can send detailed pictures of these spots.
The 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 was factory rated at 235 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Engine oil changes were performed in 3000 mile increments using Rotella diesel oil and Mobile 1 oil filters. The fuel filter was changed every 15,000 miles with only Motorcraft fuel filters. The air filter was changed every 10,000 miles. The transmission fluid was changed at 100,000 and 200,000 miles by Ford. Recent maintenance includes an oil and filter change, a belt change, new OEM Ford front brake calipers, and two new 850 CCA Continental batteries (February 2022). Seller states he gets 18-21 mpg in combination city and highway driving.
Engine and truck maintenance over its life has included two new alternators (dual alternators were special ordered on this truck), a pinion seal, and a high-pressure oil pump. The crank positioning sensor was changed early in its history due to a factory recall. There is a small oil leak on the passenger lower turbo hose, which most of these 7.3 diesels had in their life. Ford tried to fix it at 100,000 miles, but was unsuccessful. The rear differential fluid was changed every 100,000 miles and included the special traction lock oil required for this optional traction lock rear end.
The undercarriage is all stock, including the exhaust, and is in excellent condition due to being a Central Texas truck all its life. There is no rust in this truck. This long bed truck has a 38 gallon fuel tank. The spare tire has never been on the ground.
Spare parts included with the truck is a belt, four Ford rotors that can be turned and used on the next brake job, a Motorcraft fuel filter, two Ford front sway bar bushings, a bottle of Motorcraft coolant conditioner and PH test kit for the coolant, the original door speakers, and a Ford hub cap.
I have an extreme amount of documentation included with the truck. Everything from order forms, the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, and all maintenance receipts mentioned previously. I have many pictures of all parts of truck, including undercarriage if needed. Thanks for the space. [email protected]. (512) 426-1953
