My 2000 Ford F350 was involved in an accident. The vehicle run for another 3 hours and then the check engine light come on and it lost power a few moments later while I was trying to get it off the road and the engine cut off and wont restart. Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks in advance.

Could be a few things fuel pump inertia switch or some other damage.

Check the code

It's possible for the engine to run without the fuel pump operating. The injectors can draw some fuel thru the lines, but it probably wouldn't have much power. Then when it shut off, the system lost prime and the injectors can't pick up fuel. Check the inertial cutoff switch accessible behind the passenger side kick panel. There's a hole near the top of the panel that you can push the button on the switch to reset it. If it clicks when pushed, it had been tripped by the impact.

If that doesn't work, then you'll need to get the codes checked to see why the check engine light came on. If there was a CEL, there WILL be a code stored. BTW, most auto parts stores scan tools won't read codes off your truck.
