Hey fellows,

I have a no start condition. It just happened all of sudden truck was started up to work on my trailer wiring. I blew a fuse for the driver side blinker. I simply replaced the fuse and tried to restart and nothing but the click from the relay inside. I get the dash powering up the wait to start. I can put headlights on and no reduction in power. I have no power going to the solenoid from that small wire while trying to start. I can use my screwdriver and start the truck no problem with the solenoid. I found a diagram for neutral switch/automatic not sure if its the right one though. I jumped pin 10 and 12 and still nothing.

1. does anyone have the diagram for 2000 neutral safety switch

2 does anyone know if I could have a bad ignition switch even though I get the relay click inside the cab?

I appreciate the help as its hurting my head and I don't want it hurting my wallet.

Six speed or automatic tranny?
If it's an automatic, there's just a jumper block where the Clutch Pedal Position Switch would be plugged in. The more likely scenario there is that your shifter is loose. There are a couple of bolts under the dash that tend to come loose. Try shifting the lever to neutral instead of park and see what happens.
If the truck has a manual tranny, there are two separate switches built into the Clutch Pedal Position Switch. Terminals 1 and 2 need to be connected for the starter relay to get power. Terminals 3 and 4 aren't used on diesels, and Terminals 5 and 6 are the cruise control disable circuit.

no power going to the solenoid from ignition.

the relay does click in the cab.

I tried to bypass the NSS with pin 10 and 12. Which I found here on a 2002. I can't confirm same as 2000. no start continues

I can start truck with screwdriver passing energy on solenoid on frame rail.

I have also tried to move key around while in tumbler and no change.

I have also tried to start it every gear with no change.

I do have a auto start however my fobs battery is dead so unable to attempt. I know I need to get that battery.
