I've got a 2002 f250 7.3L that ran great today. I stopped in a parking lot and turned it off. When I went to leave it started right up but would not accelerate at all when the gas pedal was pushed. All gauges on the dash board were unresponsive and nonfunctional. Any ideas?

The wiring to your overdrive cancel button has probably shorted out and blown fuse #45, which also kills the accelerator pedal position switch.

It usually occurs in the shifter handle where it moves. Or if you have a tilt column, in that joint. You'll need to pull the shifter off to find where the short is.
