I need a new Auto Tranny - I've always wanted a manual. Is it more expensive to switch? Good move or bad?

I researched a bit on that and I decided to stick with the auto. I would just stick with auto and get the 4r100HD, SW, JW or BTS trans. with good tuning, you'll be happy with that.

to make the swap easy as possible you need a donor truck. look around, lots of thread about that swap

Like Yan said...there are many threads on the swap that can be found with the search function.

Start a thread on the swap if you decide to do it !

Unless you do the work yourself and get the parts for less than 1500 it's not cheaper.
