Got a strange problem, ALL of the interior lights (over head and door lights) stay on if the head light switch is set to either auto or manual. also when the engine is shut off and key removed from the ignition the key alarm goes off when the drivers door is opened. Suspose to go on a trip in a few days and driving with out head lights isnt a option.

PS also the door ajar light IS NOT on (it seems to work fine)

Is the dimmer switch wheel next to the light knob in the position for the dome and cargo lights to be on?

Should have said that I checked it and it is in the correct posistion, spun it for GP and it does not make a difference.. Thanks

when you move the dimmer switch, do the instrument lights dim?

Well its fixed. The problem was a friends dog chewed on a few wire down by the frame (under the drivers door) guess they were shorting out and feeding back power some how. Repaired them and all is good again. Thanks
