I have a 2003 6.0L and I have a Quadzilla race module installed. The other day I was towing and it started to cut out every once in a while. It was actually a jerk for about a second or less. I have not had trouble up until then. I turned the module off and I still have the same problem. It does it now more frequently. I will cut out as low as 1250rpm just going slow or when the torque converter is locked going down the highway. Is this a problem at the ICP sensor connections? Could a sticking EGR valve cause this problem?

Thanks for your help

I just posted the same question. I was just scanning older posts. Apparently we both have the same problem. I even went to the extent fo removing it completly and it still done it. I never had any problems until I hooked this up to my truck. I had to take mine back for a update from ford, and when they hooked the computer up to my truck, it wouldnt pick up the OBC. So I myself, am wondering if it is something that the Quadzilla Module has wrong with it.

I took my plug to the ICP sensor off, cleaned it, then re-installed it last year and it took care of the problem. I am going to try to do the same again and see if it helps.

I had the same problem towing my 5th wheel. It was the EGR valve and ICP sensor. Additionally, the computer had to be reprogramed and now she is back to normal.

I am running a Quadzilla right now and have what sounds like the same problem. It starts cutting out at higher RPM's. I have been working with the Quad dealer I bought it from, just came from there today in fact. What we found was that tha MAP sensor was affecting it. We swapped it out with a MAP sensor from a 99' with a 7.3 and it ran perfect so I bought a new MAP sensor for my truck, (an 03') put it in and it did the same thing again! Took a MAP sensor of a work truck, an 01' 7.3 and it ran better, not right but better. Put the 03' MAP sensor back in and it's cutting out again. If someone can explain this to me I'd LOVE the education! Anyway, in the interum,I had some EGR issues and did an EGR delete, engine oil cooler, turbo recondition, and replace the ICP sensor which started leaking shortly after installation of the Quad. Put it back together and it ran great! Until I put the module back in...cutting out again. Read some threads on Power Stroke Nation and it sounded like the leaking ICP sensor is kinda common with Quads. So here I am looking for answers... If anyone has some for me pleasepost them up!

EGR caused this exact thing on my truck. Take the ERG out and clean it now.

I don't know that my EGR could still be causing the problem. I capped both ends of the EGR cooler and re-installed it so even though I put the EGR valve back in,(after cleaning it), no exhuast gases should be passing through so no matter what the valve does it shouldn't effect performance. Maybe I'm wrong? Tell me what you think.

That would have been helpful info to put in your first post:icon_rolleyes: Now we need a tech to come in and diagnose.
