Have a 1997 F350 auto that came from the factory with a powerstroke, which is blown up and was wondering if you can use a superduty motor with an E40D tranny

Not sure why not alsong as its a 7.3 I put a 99 block and heads in my 96.

Yea lots of parts this will be uh the 3rd engine going into the truck a little too much propane....

don't 03's have PMR's? Powdered Metal rods? Not good if yer gonna be throwin HP at it....
