Hey all,

Newborn in the house! Putting a car seat in the F250.

So naturally, it goes in the rear center. I don't have a male end on the center seat belt.

I figured out that I have to remove the storage bin in the back to get to the seat belt bolt, but I'm having problems with the bolts holding the rear bin down. There's 3- and the center came out no problem. The end ones are just spinning (with resistance- doesn't feel stripped). Is there a trick to these two bolts?

Also, what size bolt is holding the seat belt down? Is that a Torx?

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, the storage bin bolts are threaded into thread inserts in the floor which suck. Just a little bit of corrosion over time and the insert spins with the bolt.

Yes, the seat belt bolts are torx....and an impact gun makes short order of removal...

Thanks.

I'll try prying up. I'm hoping that does the trick.
