I am looking at replacing the engine in my 2005 F250 6.8L. I found a 2016 from a salvage class A motorhome, but not sure what differences there are between the 2 and if it would work.

I'd guess the long block is similar, but might have some variations in sensors and wiring.

What a perfect time to put a Cummins 5.9 in your truck. They make kits that allow for a virtual drop-in replacement. You'd double your mileage and your torque.

Can't justify spending that much more to do the Cummins conversion. It would be about twice what it cost to put another 6.8 in it. If I had the extra cash, I'd do it just to do it, but budget is the dictating factor.
