Ford used Cummins engines in their medium duty trucks for more than 20 years, you should be able to find all kinds of combinations and transmission choices.

You saying any bare engine will bolt up,what about computer aspects, also I think I have the Brazilian motor,if that matters. I was looking to see what yrs are compatible so I can drop in and go,was the main reason for my original question

Most of the medium duty Fords I've seen use the 5.9 and later the 6.7 ISB engine... IOW the same engine used in the Dodge PU's... look on the engine placard for the engine size and the engine family... with that information usually a good wrecking yard can suggest the correct engine that will interchange with yours..

I assume you just need an engine... you also might consider an re-man from Jasper Engine... Remanufactured engines, transmissions and differentials | JASPER Engines...

Hope this helps...

Jim
