2006 6.0 with 2,700 miles drives great no problems, when I shut it down and go to restart it, it will turn over but will not start. This is the second time this has happened. 1st time I put it on a tow truck, driver tried starting it and it started that was at 1,500 miles. 2nd time towed it straight to the dealer it sat over the weekend, they got in and it started. Their computer says truck is running great. They reprogramed it and said call back if it happens again. Should I be looking for this to happen again? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I vote for a small leak in the high pressure system.

They will cause a no start when warm, normal start when cold.

And they can be very difficult to find. Some likely causes are the STC fitting on the back of the high pressure pump, failed o-ring on top of one or more injectors, or a failed o-ring on a block-off plug...

You might consider asking the dealership to try to replicate the conditions of the concern - get it good and hot, then try to shut it off and restart. Barring that, ask for the flight recorder (VDR).

Good luck...
