I havea 2006 F250. The truck has recently had everything replaced...
in the last 5k miles:
new injectors
new turbo
new radiator
new stand pipe
new dummy plug,...
you get the idea. Prior to these repairs, I have had the following done:
full bulletproof kit
new trans
new ARP head studs
FICM...
So in teh past 2 weeks I noticed a miss at freeway speeds. It would fire up fine, run fine all around town. The minute it got up to operating temp on the freeway, the truck would start bucking like crazy. At times, the truck would have NO throttle response. I would let off the throttle and then hammer it and it would be fine under load. The minute I was cruising again, the truck would buck again. After a few days of this, the truck started having a hard time starting up when cold. The truck sat for a weekend and this morning it really had a tough time starting.
Fast forward to today. I was driving home doing about 70 when the truck just died on me. I coasted ot the side of the freeway, and tried ot fire it up again. No dice. It would crank for a while and nothing. Fine. I called a tow truck and in the mean time I would try and crank it again and hoped it owuld fire up. After the truck cooled down, it finally fired up (struggled to get started). I drove it home on city streets and it was fine. I came home and replaced the ICP sensor. I have not gotten it on the freeway yet, but it did have a harder time starting up, so I am a bit concerned that was not the problem.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction on what it can possibly be? I have an IPR sensor, but don't want ot tear into it unless the chances are pretty high it can be that.
Thanks for the advice.
