I have a 07 Versa that has started lock in park. I have had to push the shift lock button to get it to shift into drive. Does anyone have any idea what could be making this happen. It has started to just do it now and then.

On your brake pedal there should be a switch that allows the shifter out of park.

I have had to bypass them before. i am betting it is loose and not being pressed correctly.

fwiw, VW had 2 recalls on those types of switches. Almost left me stranded in my garage one morning when I couldn't get the sucker into Reverse. The second time I had to have the switch replaced, the brake lights stayed on, even after the car was shut off. You might check with Nissan to see if they have a similar recall going on.
