Have a 2008 F250, I have a 4in. downpipe back system, EGR delete kit , and a SCT x4 that I'm going to start putting on today.

I've been reading for 2 days and can't get a straight answer on-

If I can delete the EGR/DPF with the stock tunes or if I need to get a custom tune and where would get one fast and for a good price?

When I delete the EGR should I leave it on and plugged in and just get rid of the cooler or get rid of everything?

Did you buy a kit with the x-4 to do what you are doing?
the reason I ask is because if you did the X 4 would have cost you in the $700 range and is a x-4 competition tuner and it will come with a paper inside saying it is loaded with A and B file tunes and you have to go to info first to get your tranny code so you know what files to run A or B if the programmer cost $3-400 then it don't have the tunes you need.
if you got the one in the link above then it does not have the programing to do what you need.
you need the 7015 X-4 competition that comes with the special programs on it.
