Can anybody tell me if the 2009 FX4 with the luxury package have the outside thermometer. I know it includes the dual ETC for 2009, which was a plus for me. I believe the thermometer is in the ETC and not the Message Center but have yet to sit in a truck to see for sure.

Evidently I am either the first to ask this question, or nobody else cares. I did verify that the exterior temprature is on the ETC in the FX4 when equipped with the Luxury Package.:thumbsup:

Don't know the answer, but I do know that I went with the Lariat package and not the FX4 for a number of reasons and that was one of them. It just seemed to me that there were more advantages for the Lariat than the FX4, ergo wise. I have sure enjoyed my 2008 Lariat, job 2, and would do this same setup again.

Thanks for the reply. I probably wasn't clear in my response above, but the dealer tells me the 2009's have the same ETC as the Lariats when you order the Luxury Package.

I'm a fan of the fx4. I bought three 08 fx4's and now I have a Larist(08). I liked the black interior (which I know is avail on the lariat for 09). And I liked the dk gray tu tone as well. I did spring for chrome bumpers and grille tho. And Yes I think its gay that it doesn't have the temp compass or power sliding rear window for 08.

Did you try posting in the "ordering Information" thread, There is a forum member/vender named Bobby Williams that is a director of fleet sales and monitors that thread. He is pretty helpfull and usually has the ordering forms on his site, I don't see the 2009 ordering forms out yet, but he has an Email address that you could send a message to or he will most likely answer your post in that thread.

Yes I have an 09 f250 extended fx4 with the luxury package (power heated mirrors, slider, dual hvac, heated seats, etc etc). It has the ext temp in the climate controls. small buttom "EXT" I love the interior of this truck
