Hello I have a 2011 f-250 6.7l. Any time it rains and for a few hours after a rain the truck will not crank. Before key is even turned to start/ run position a message on the instrument cluster reads “starting system failure”. I have checked plug connections, fuses, relays, and I think all the ground straps if I have found them all as well as starter solenoid power and excite wires... currently in Hilton head with rain now and a hurricane on the way any help would be greatly appreciated

If an unprogrammed key is used or if there is a PATS system concern, "STARTING SYSTEM FAULT" is displayed in the message center and the engine will not start. You will need a scan tool to diagnose this concern.
