Got mine done here.Looks nice. Do you have any close up pictures? Where did you get these at?
Recon makes decent stuff, but the output will be nowhere near what I got done. I do a lot of driving at night, and I am extremely impressed with the system I got.I sent an email off to Recon asking if they were working on any plans to sell one...
"Yes they are in the works. Working on final DOT approval stages and production should be starting. I would say late summer or early fall they should be in stock and ready to go. We will have them available in either the clear chrome or the black chrome."
So... we'll see... hopefully toward the end of summer...
How difficult is it to install the HID version of these replacements anyways...?
Yes, it is Bi-Xenon. I had to buy the replacement OEM headlights for about $120 or so each on Ebay. The HID system was around $425, which include really good OEM equipment. Black Flame charged me around $500 for the paint and install. They have great aim and you can still adjust the vertical to meet your needs. The focus is precise and the HID kit I have has a very distinct cutoff line. I am very happy with them.rocman: is your HID system bi-xenon? Also what was teh total cost for teh project and how is the aiming and focus of teh HID pattern?
thanks!
True...The 2011 is not the same as the 2008-10. I would be skeptical of those. That seller may not be aware.
