Recently upgraded from my 2011 F250 6.2L gasser to a 6.7L PS.

I'm at about 1,500 km and I've had a notification come up 3 or 4 times already saying "Cleaning Exhaust Filter". Is it common for this to happen so often?
Is this what most are calling "regen" in the forum?

Any wisdom is welcome in glad to be back on the diesel train.

Yes, that is regen and your frequency is normal. If it happened more often it would still be normal. Regeneration frequency varies with the driving style, load, temp, and a host of other things.
Short trips driven a lower speeds will not allow the DPF to be cleaned (this cleaning is the "regeneration") as the required heat may not be attained when driven this way. If you see that message it would be best to continue driving for 15 minutes. When this is not possible the cleaning will commence when the conditions allow on the next drive.
