Putting the rear end way up in the air also makes it a lot easier to move around. I use a pair of 12ton stands from Harbor Freight. I have the 2000 pound trans jack, and I take them out like Kevin described.
Yup!! Mine are slotted so you can adjust the length between corners, and the uprights rotate.Those adjustable angle iron corners go at the 4 corners of the pan - they should make contact on the lip of the pan as close to the sides of the pan as you can get them. Then, with the strap in place, you've got 4 corner support and prevention against sliding in any direction. There is no force on the bottom of the pan this way.
