Well it does narrow it down. Lo works so the hubs are ok, the t case should be ok unless you see trouble in the fluid or noise so it is most likely a switch, servo or solenoid problem....electrical. From there it could be in or out, simple or hard....
4wd Inop.
Low range works fine but not high, why? 2003 Excusrion, 111,000 miles.
