Has auto and locking style hubs, I move the selector to 4 high and it won't engage, keeps saying to pull forward, then it says service 4x4 with the little wrench icon on the dash, tried to put the hubs in the lock position and it still doesn't work. I haven't used the 4x4 in over a year but I have NEVER had a problem with it until now... Any advice is greatly appreciated....

It may be time to take it in. It could be a computer problem. Have you checked the fuse? Underhood 39 or 40.

No I haven't checked the fuses either

Sounds like a bad transfer case motor to me. Could be both hubs but they normally make noises before they go. Any noises when you’re trying to get it into 4WH? Clunking, fringing, popping?
