I'll see you there! Do you know how much it costs to get your truck inside the fairgrounds?

$80 for two adults and as many kids that fit(legally) in your truck. If you don't register you can brong so much as a chair in the gate. We bring the grill, kiddie pool, coolers, EZ ups.........

Mostly sunny 82 degrees! Not too hot, not too cold. Could be warmer for the ladies, but it look like the best day for the next week!

I took a ride out today before the weekend crowd hits. I haven't been there in 10 years so it was nice to take another look. This was probably my most enjoyable trip there as I wasn't showing a truck and didn't have to sit there for three days.

I took about 160 pictures. Predominately of Super Duty's. I only saw two 08's there but I was there early and out before 2PM. I'd imagine the weekend will bring an influx of trucks.

If you haven't seen the Fabtech truck in person make it a point to. There is a ton of one off machine work on this truck.

I talked to every suspension manufacture that was present. I was amazed at how many either didn't know their front spring rates or just didn't want to tell me. BDS? and Rough Country took the time to look the numbers up for me. Props to them. Superlift and Skyjacker were clueless. They could not grasp that there are different front springs for the service spring and snow plow packages. I'd be going backward using their springs (by their explanation).

There was a majority of the wheel manufactures present. What I thought was my wheel of choice has turned to crap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Tires, holy crap there were tons of tires there. The new 54" Swamper's were there. Dam they are big. I stopped showing in 97 and I was using 48" turfs and that was big.

All in all it was a nice trip to check out the latest and greatest. It was like a stroll down memory lane. Sure glad it is just a memory now.........

We had a great time. Was it just me or was there many more women there than in the past?? The scenery was great, as well as the trucks. Looking forward to Carlisle now.

There did seem to be more ladies there this weekend. Some of whom must have been a little warm as they kept lifting their shirts to cool off. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

Was it green? If so, I saw it cruising. That truck is sweet. Which Cummins did he use?
