Hi all. My 99 E-350SD is about to give up the ghost. I am starting a search for a new 4x4 Ford E-350 with 4x4 and oh yeah a Diesel. It will probably be a Quigly. Anyone have a place that sells these semi close to me? I have looked at warnock and scarsdale so far. I am looking for an extended Cargo van. I can add the shelfs myself.

Thanks........

Go to Quigley's web site and you can see the dealers that stock them AND you can see what the dealers have in inventory.

Took me 4 and half hours from LI.

Looks like my local dealer can do an 07 E-350sd Reg length van loaded with a base of 26,500. However this is not with the 4x4 package from Quigley. Want to take bets what he comes back with? And is 26.5 to much before the 4x4?

26500 for loaded van isnt bad, cargo or passenger ? my loaded 04 e350 super cargo ext with 6.0 was 32 33 k something. start at invoice, and offer 100 over if u dont have xplan......good starting point. auto sale s are down in all areas...

quigley 4x4 adds if i remember 7500 bucks to the price..

and only on vehicles shipped direct from plant....

Be very careful with A&K. Things are looking bad on mine.

I don't want to badmouth the guy because I think he's a good guy, but my van is turning out to be much less than promised. Its going to cost me big bucks to get it running at all reliably. He told me no leaks and I count 5, he told me its been well taken care of and the dealer says the silt in the turbo tube says otherwise, I'm not looking to replacing the waterpump but I think I'll have to because its leaking from the weep hole and heater hose, the #3 injector is having issues, exhaust leaks etc... It also has lots of nitpicky issues that you would expect for a van with 190000, and I can live with that. The short of it is the van is in the dealer trying to live again. The dealer is talking a new engine is probably the way to go judging on the internal wear. With hundreds of happy customers I seem to be the outlying bad case so thats why I said be careful and get things in writing.

Sorry to hear that you are having a bad experience from A & K. When I was talking to him, Bob, I got the feeling that I knew more about the diesel engine and ford vans than him. He didn't even know what a oasis report was. That is when I became a member of this site and asked questions and got good advice (I still got the van anyway!) Some more questions I have for you (or anyone else) are what would cause the silt in the turbo? Did the previous owners not change oil and fuel filters (internal wear)? Alright, I might not know as much as Bob, the diesel Dude.

The former owner may have used a K&N Filter and did not clean/maintain it. That will dirt-up the tubro tube. And the guy may have lived in a dusty area, farm, construction sites etc.

You can always drop a new rebuilt 7.3 engine in the van and it will be like a new rig.

When my engine dies I may do the same thing, until they make a better engine for the van.

I have the van at the dealer right now so I hope to have a better idea what going on. I've spent a good hour talking to the mechanic and he seems like a good guy. Every place has its bias and it seems that since this place is a fleet place they want everything 100% which probably won't happen with this van. However, he's agreed to look at it from the point of view of saving it. Hoping for the best!
