I know it's a pretty broad subject but......how many miles can these engines go before overhaul is required. 3-4-500,000? Mine will never get there. I'm lucky to put on 5, 000 miles per year. Just curious.

The bottom ends in these engines are incredibly stout. I would say 500,00 at least. The HGs will fail long before there's a bottom end issue, and it'll use up probably 3-4 sets on injectors before the bottom end needs to be overhauled.
