so i’m new to the power stroke game. i found a 2009 f250 6.4. it has 120k miles on it. it appears to have been garage kept, and looks like it was pampered. i’m working on getting the history from it. 15k$$ and it just seems like the truck i have been waiting for. i been looking to build one and lift it with nice wheels, but with all the bad i read it’s getting scary to even think about considering. i’m going to have a mechanic look at it tomorrow, but should i be worried. i read that 2009 and 2010s are a little better off then 2008

Just in general, I wouldn’t buy a 6.4 unless you have the funds to replace the motor (preferably with a Cummins) at any time.
