Recently purchased a 2008 6.4 with 100k on it. Dpf deleted and Unknown programmer on it. I plan on doing a egr delete and new programmer but not until February. I'm just curious if I can unplug the egr and get some better mpgs and be healthier for the engine till I get the actual delete?
Don't wanna tear anything up but it was unplugged when I bought it.

Chances are, what ever programmer you are running currently already has disabled the codes in there so un-plugging it is only going to default the butterfly valve to it's oe position. It shouldn't hurt anything.
