Hello everyone hoping to get some help here since I’m out of ideas and no shop can find a problem.just so y’all have an idea I’ll fill in the situation. I have a 08 6.4 powerstroke 170000 miles daily i drive from school and work. I don’t dog on it ever and never put it in the performance tune.My first encounter was my truck died while driving, ended up being corroded batteries, i had a wire brush, cleaned the terminals and i was good (have not replaced batteries) After this I had changed the fuel filters and I think I ended up getting air in the lines so had it towed to a shop bc I couldn’t get it to turn over. Eventually they got it running and I was good to go. During that time it was throwing a p2291 code (injector control pressure too low-engine cranking) After getting it back from the shop it drove fine for a week, now daily it will shut off on me while driving only 15-30 min away to school or work. My battery light and oil lights will come on and I loose power steering and brakes not practical when going 60 on the highway. Everytime it does this I pull over and restart it and it starts back up. It will also randomly have a rough idle and will jump to 1000-1500 RPM randomly when stopped at a stop light. When it begins to die I am able to floor it to bring the RPM up but it’s very delayed maybe by a couple seconds. After I do it’ll drive fine and idle ok for a bit. It does not give me a single code except p1000 which is bc it’s deleted and has always been there. Can someone help me i think it may be the HPFP or maybe just the batteries but they have been tested good. Or could it be air in the lines still even thought it was about 2-3 weeks ago i got it back and running after the filters were replaced?

Update: I changed the batteries and did a test drive, noticed it idles a little higher than it did before, no problems until about 10 minutes if that into the drive felt in the pedal and rpms drop that it started to bog down. Did it twice and I gassed it and it was fine after that, and when I was at a stoplight it would idle up and down every couple seconds but it never died on me. Thinking it could maybe be a bad connection somewhere or a sensor possibly?
