I will double check the filter I threw away and make sure gasket is still on there. I wiped the excess off when I put it on there but I could of seeped through a little bit. It dripped a little puddle about the size of a penny when I parked in driveway after change. I have checked it all day and none has dripped on ground so that makes me feel better. I'm am going to wipe of the filter after work and see if it leaks a little.
6.7L oil leaking at oil filter
My 6.7 powerstroke has developed a small leak where the oil filter threads in at. The leak is very small and will run down to the bottom of the filter. Only enough oil to cover the tip of your finger but I just changed the oil and new filter does the same thing. Any suggestions? It's under warranty but If it's an easy seal to replace I would rather do it myself because its my daily.
