I currently have the Banks 6 gun & Big Hoss Chip installed on my truck. After reading in a recent post I've found out that maybe Banks was not the most ideal setup for my truck and what I was wanting. Been looking at the F5 DP chip. I'm assuming this will just take the the place of my Big Hoss Chip and still stack fine with my 6 gun? Is this a correct assumption? Also, I previously was running a TS 6-position chip and still have the dial installed, anybody know if the knob from the TS chip will plug into the F5 DP chip or will I have to install a different dial. The stup I am looking at for my DP chip only has 6 settings so I as far as positions on the knob I should be fine.

you can use the 6 gun for the pyro guage if you wish, but Jodi's chip will do everything that both the big hoss and the 6 gun combined will do. . .plus some. I'd just dump it on ebay and buy gauges since there is no need for it stacked (nor will it be advised by jodi).

6 gun is a module that plugs into the wiring harness. . .basically an over glorified resistor mod. . .it's not a program loaded into the computer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Your old TS knob style chip will not work with the new F5 DP chip.

It would've worked on the old DP chips. Just use it for something else. I made mine from my old 18k a dimmer for my gauges.
My only problem is that i just installed my guages into a quad pillar with pyro, boost, tranny temp, and I had the 6 gun in the 4th spot. I was not wanting to have an open spot or sumthin that is not being used so I was sorta hoping that the 6 gun might just be able to stay.

You could leave the 6 gun, but it won't do you anything other than being an expensive cap. . .i'd sell it on ebay, Banks stuff pulls a mint on ebay, then fill it with a useable guage, engine temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure.
