I'm planning to have the coolant and transmission fluid changed at the dealer. Anything else I should be doing besides oil and fuel filters which I do myself?
Thank you guys.
I still love this truck, by the way.

Aside from what you have listed there isn't much at that mileage to be added. It depends on your usage and service history at this point. Be sure that the dealer performs Quality Care Inspections which means your truck will get a complete inspection with tire and brake measurements and should also mean your batteries will be tested.

But just for FUN, ask them how much they charge to clean and re-gap glow plugs. ;)

Why change the coolant at 60K. Did it test bad? Has any VC12 been added?

The coolant is not a scheduled item till 105K miles.

The transmission is a scheduled item at 150K miles.

His truck is 5+ years old. I don't know what HIS motivation is but if this was MY truck, those fluids would have been changed at least a year ago... especially if I towed with the truck. And it looks like he does.
