Hey, I'm new here. Just recently blew one of the hpop oil lines and replaced them both with hydraulic hose as well as replacing the O-rings on the HPOP. Everything ran fine before, truck would build boost and run like a raped ape. Now after replacement and I think I have all of the air out of the system, it runs like crap. At times I can floor it and it picks up and runs like it should, other times it bogs down, or it acts like its going to go and then falls on its face. I'm out of ideas as to what may be going on with it. No boost leaks that I can see, truck seems to build boost fine.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
Yeah it can take like 60 miles to get all the air out of the heads. Harder you drive it the quicker it will be expelled.
How is your oil level? If it's low the injectors will not work right.

Thanks for the fast reply, Oil level is great, as well as it idles fine. Also replaced the plenum boots as one had a small tear in it. And I'll be honest, I haven't drove it 60mi, maybe just trying to make a few hard passes on the neighboring back road.

You have your map sensor and everything else plugged in?
You need some hard drives be careful.

Yeah map is plugged up, also new ICP as the old one had oil in the connector. I guess living in rural costal GA has its benefits for purging the air out.

Tasty and great for homeless shelters or families that sign themselves up on a list is a great idea. Maine or Alaska, a cop has a fresh Moose kill, he sits on it till the people who get it, to give to those families, comes and gets it. Great programs but a moderator is going to jump on us for non diesel related posts in a second.

Seems to be doing a little better now except it still wants to bog on occasion as well as smoke out the tail pipe (white and smells of oil)
