Welcome to the Diesel Stop
I hope the glow plugs AREN'T Autolites, if they are get them out NOW and replace with Beru/Motorcraft ZD9's.
When the truck starts is there any white smoke? And does it start right back up or take a bit of cranking? Of either is the case then you probably have air intrusion.
Look in the valley under the injector pump, is there any signs of wetness? If so, then the supply line from the filter to the IP is leaking. Of the caps on the injectors are grey, they are factory originals and should be changed. Kits are available but you should get a quality kit like from site sponsor Mid West fuel injection ( known on the web as "thedieselstore.com").
