I am currently trying to get my 1994 F250 Turbo diesel on the road as it has been sitting for about 6 months since I bought it. It runs and starts fine but has a lot of oil leaks plus when the weather was cold some of the injectors would stick and smoke. I bought a Wicked wheel for the turbo to give the engine more power and was going to install it at this time and also replace all the glow plugs and injectors. I began by trying to remove the turbo which seems to be very stubborn to remove. The problem is the down pipe from the 'Y' pipe adapter on the back of the passenger side exhaust manifold won't release from the slip joint where the turbo joins it. I made a tool to hook to the 'Y' pipe adapter to connect to my slide hammer axle puller but so far it won't budge. Any ideas on how to separate the turbo down pipe from the 'Y' adapter would be appreciated. :smile2:

Some good penetrating oil, spray it down every time you walk by it for about a week, then if you can reach it with a hammer, hit it a couple of times to jar it. It will come loose eventually.
